Blade Care Guide

Your Kick Ass Knife is built for the job site. With proper care, it will last a lifetime unless your an insulator which will grind this down to a toothpick in 6-12 months.

DO NOT:

• Leave your knife wet or in damp tool bags
• Use it as a pry bar, screwdriver, or chisel
• Put it in the dishwasher
• if your an insulator do not oil this knife.  Oiling any knife will prevent adhesives or glues from adhering.

Sharpening:

We recommend using a whetstone or ceramic rod from Norton.  Maintain the original angle (~15° per side).  

As an Insulator we know your going to use your Norton Sharpening Rod in order to keep it razor sharp to cut paper and fiberglass that has metal strands in it that will cause you to sharpen the knife frequently.   If you grind it down we will cover the warranty on any defects but you will wear the knife down in 6-12 months like any knife.   This is a consumable tool for the trade.
